At a media preview of the exhibit, Alex Ward, head of operations at Madame Tussauds Singapore, said that the location “is more than just a wax museum,” according to The Jakarta Post.
Ward continued: “People have this impression that it’s all just about wax figures here, but Madame Tussauds Singapore is actually more interactive than you would think. And what’s more interactive than a 4D experience?”
To further enhance that experience, two new Marvel superhero figures have been stationed outside the cinematic exhibit. Visitors can now find Captain America and Iron Man alongside Spider-Man, with the Iron Avenger’s effigy surrounded by Tony Stark’s suits and gizmos seen in previous Marvel films.
Alex Ward concluded his Jakarta Post interview with the following sentiment: “Marvel superheroes appeal to everyone, and they are also very current. There is a new Marvel movie coming out every few months, so we wanted to launch this new section as they are so popular and trendy at the moment.”
