Kevin Feige Finally Discusses The Tom Holland ‘Spider-Man’ Leak

After Holland “leaked’ the name for the next Spider-Man, many fans began to wonder if it was all done on purpose. With all of the precautions they took to make sure he wasn’t giving up the goods during the Infinity War press tour, you’d expect that Marvel Studios would at least give him a warning against doing it. If you were one of those fans who bought into the the intended leak conspiracy, guess what, you were right.

During an interview with Birth.Movies.Death, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige explained why they went about it this way:

“There are certain logistics of the way these movies are made that meant that title would potentially be leaked in some way because it was going out into the world in various forms. So Mr. Holland took it upon himself to leak it for us.”

He’s absolutely right. With the Internet the way it is, set photos and videos will be coming out in abundance. As a matter of fact, TRSL.com has already shared a couple, which you can watch HERE and HERE. It was only a matter of time before it became public knowledge anyway, and why not have Tom play up his reputation as a gag for the fans? So, now we know that it will be Far From Home that opens in theaters on July 5th, 2019!
