Larson wrapping up with shooting also leads to new speculation as to when the first teaser trailer will be released. It is known that Marvel will not be making an appearance at San Diego Comic Con’s Hall H this year, beyond perhaps a 10-year anniversary celebration presentation. Panels for upcoming films could only be Captain Marvel or Avengers 4, and it has been confirmed that neither movie will be making a scheduled appearance as films have in the past.
However, this word on the completion of Brie Larson’s filming does raise the possibility of a surprise appearance by Carol Danvers herself at SDCC. This is purely speculation, but one thing is for sure: stranger things have happened when it comes to Hall H and Marvel Studios. Remember in 2013 when Tom Hiddleston dressed up as Loki and told the audience in Hall H to kneel?
There were also reports that some footage was shown last month at the CineEurope, so it’s only a matter of time before that footage is seen by the rest of the world. What we do know for sure is Captain Marvel comes to theaters on March 9, 2019!
