Benedict Cumberbatch Expresses His Interests In Doctor Strange For The Future

Infinity War kind of left the world in a strange sort of limbo, but there has to be some sort of hope, right? Avengers 4 will hopefully revive some of our fallen comrades and provide a future for other heroes in their already announced solo endeavors, such as Spider-Man: Homecoming 2 and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

According to an interview with Deadline, Benedict had this to say when asked if he thinks he’ll be returning as the Sorcerer Supreme in the MCU again:

“Oh, Strange? Just try to stop me.” Cumberbatch said, “That’s all kind of lined up as far as I’m aware, but who knows? I mean, you know, the problem is, how does he get out of where he’s at. But that’s the only thing. I’m bits of dust at the moment as far as I understand. So you really have to ask (Marvel Studios president) Kevin Feige. But as far as wanting to do it, yeah, I would love to go back into that role.”

Until we get more MCU content to chew through, at least you can watch Benedict Cumberbatch play Operation with his Cloak of Levitation on Ellen.
