As awards show season comes to a close and Black Panther and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse celebrate their Oscar wins, Marvel Studios and FOX want to remind you that there is no rest for the super. There are still big things to come this year, and that doesn’t just mean Avengers: Endgame. Yesterday, new marketing material was released regarding several of the upcoming Marvel films. Below is a roundup of what has been announced so far to help hype us up for what’s to come.

Let’s start with the next Marvel movie, Captain Marvel. We’re just over one week from the film’s debut, and excitement is at an all-time high. You know what that means? TV spots and featurettes galore!

The newest trailer highlights the enigmatic villains of the film, the Skrulls. With a voiceover by Nick Fury, we get a closer look at the shape-shifting alien race that Carol Danvers will have to fight amongst other action scenes and a few funny one-liners that the MCU is famous for.

A new behind-the-scenes featurette released this week also showed viewers an up-close look at Brie Larson’s training with the Air Force in preparation for the film. Marvel Studios spares no expense when it comes to enabling their actors to do whatever it takes to get into character. Since such a major aspect of Carol Danvers is her being a pilot, this was just another day at the office for Brie and the talented men and women she met in the Air Force.

Finally, a new clip was shared that features Carol Danvers and her mentor and trainer, Yon-Rogg, played by Jude Law. In the scene, Yon-Rogg (who might also be known as Mar-Vell) is training Danvers in hand-to-hand combat and how to control her photon blasting powers.

With only a few days left until the movie comes out, it looks like a grand finale of teasers, trailers, and behind-the-scenes peeks is well underway for Captain Marvel.

Although it’s still a few months away, another Marvel universe film is gearing up as well, and that’s X-Men: Dark Phoenix. Following several delays, there is finally a set release date of June 7th. That means this summer will bring the explosive finale (for now) of the 19-year-long X-Men film franchise. Of course, an epic finale must have an epic poster to go along with it. The new art features Jean Grey as both herself and her Dark Phoenix alter-ego, as well as iconic mutant characters representing the sides of peace and war. Professor X and Magneto are both there, of course, plus Mystique, Storm, Quicksilver, Beast, Cyclops, and Nightcrawler. Also pictured are the new villains who appear in the film, but their exact motives and powers are as yet unknown.

Since new footage has been released for the other two upcoming Marvel films, a little something had to come out for Avengers: Endgame, as well! Technically, it’s not quite new material, but if there’s anything Avengers fans have learned, it’s that any news is better than no news. This is just a friendly reminder that (arguably the biggest movie event of the decade) Endgame is coming to theaters in exactly 2 months (from yesterday), so DO NOT PANIC.

The quick video also features a glimpse at some of the remaining original six Avengers, just in case you forgot which Avengers are left and which ones aren’t.

It looks like Marvel fans have plenty to look forward to! We’ve almost arrived at our destination, so let the home stretch of excitement and anticipation begin!
