In a recent interview with ScreenCrush, president of Marvel Studios Kevin Feige acknowledged that Miles is indeed a part of MCU.
For the time being, he is only mentioned when Aaron Davis references his nephew, who readers know is Morales.
Feige was asked a follow-up regarding if fans can expect to see the alternative Spider-Man in the future, and well, he didn’t deny it. In fact, he teased that it’s going to happen at some point.
“All of those little things are just Easter eggs for fans until they’re something more than that. But anything that’s happened in the books is potential material for us,” Feige said.
“In the meantime, I think Miles is a big part of the animated movie that Sony’s making. But where we go … we definitely want you to go, ‘He’s there. He’s there somewhere’.”
