In an ongoing partnership with one of the hottest online Battle Royale games around, Fortnite, the Avengers are once again hopping out of the battle bus with the game players. Well, kind of. As with last year when Thanos wielded the Infinity Gauntlet against the Avengers, this year the team is fighting back, which is mirrored in the limited-time game mode that features several weapons from the film.

In this mode, released in sync with the movie, you can play as Thanos and the Chitauri or as the regular players with a heroic twist. When you play as the regular heroes, there will be a chance to wield Thor’s hammer, Cap’s shield, Iron Man’s hand blasters, or Hawkeye’s bow and arrow.

For team Thanos, your goal is simple: find all of the Infinity Stones to wield them within the gauntlet. Of course, you’ll have a hundred people to fight against along the way, but that’s why you have the Chitauri at your beck and call. At the beginning of the game, all characters start out as the Chitauri. Whoever finds the first Infinity Stone becomes Thanos and gets more and more powerful with each acquired stone. If Thanos dies, another Chitauri will respawn as Thanos. So, it is in your best interest to find the stones as soon as possible!

As with Infinity War, if you’re against Thanos, your goal is to stop him from getting the stones with the help of the Avengers’ weapons. Unlike the regular game mode (and unlike most characters in the MCU), you will respawn if killed until one team or another gathers all six stones.

The partnership between Epic Games and the Avengers doesn’t end there! Fortnite has become famous for its many customizable player skins and accessories, and new ones available to user include Black Widow and Star-Lord. You can also find the Quinjet within the game, in addition to the possibility of wielding the Original Six’s weapons.

The update with all the Avengers-themed elements is very limited, so some items may already be retired from the store to purchase, but Epic has hinted that this is only the first wave of several new additions within the Avengers partnership.
