In an alternate universe, Earth-3931, Captain America has been defeated and turned into a vampire by Baron Blood. While the shield looks to be similar to the classic, it’s void of any blue and has a much larger star on the front.
While many Captain America fans want to forget about the two made-for-TV movies featuring the hero from the 70’s, we can’t. The movies weren’t very reminiscent of the comics, and the motorcycle helmet instead of the classic is just… We’ll let you decide!
Tony Stark’s Steel Disc Replicas
This was basically a retcon to explain why all of Cap’s shields were getting damages in the comics, but these shields were from Tony Stark, who was using a steel/vibranium metal blend to try and replicate the original shield. Due to the impact of the attacks Cap would take, many of these replicas were damaged and were nothing like the real thing!
The Original Triangular Shield
It always comes back to the classic! This was the first shield Captain America ever carried, both in Captain America Comics #1 and Captain America: The First Avenger. Intended to resemble the shield that is in the Seal of the United States, the throwback is a look back at what got us all started on this journey!
