After Thanos completed the task of acquiring all six Infinity Stones and snapping his fingers at the end of Avengers: Infinity War, subsequently wiping out half of the universe and numerous superheroes in the process, all we could do as fans was sit and wonder how the original Avengers were going to pick up the pieces. What could possibly be done to undo what the Mad Titan did? Shock and bewilderment washed over theaters as Thanos got his wish, to “finally rest and watch the sunrise on a grateful universe” as the credits rolled.
While we’re going to have to wait until May 2019 to see how the Russo Brothers, Stephen McFeely, Christopher Markus, and Marvel Studios finish this story off, we do have one fan who’s bringing us artwork that shows what happened “After the Snap.” Artist Stephen Byrne has put together a four-part series, so far, that features the aftermath of the events from Infinity War. Along with that, he’s also shared with us his work from concept to completion. Let’s take a look below…

The first panels show the remaining Avengers in Wakanda returning from the battle against Thanos and his army, beaten and broken with bad news. Princess Shuri is being delivered the awful news that her brother King T’Challa has vanished into thin air along with half of the universe.

After the Snap #2 is where things get real interesting. It shows Donald Glover’s character from Spider-Man: Homecoming vanishing and the nephew he spoke about in the film being none other than Miles Morales, who becomes the next Spider-Man. Quite the interesting way to bring him into the MCU fold…
