Todd McFarlane Helps Stan Lee Re-create His Thor: Ragnarok Cameo

The “King Of Cameos” strikes again! Stan Lee recently took a DIY approach to filmmaking when he teamed up with Image Comics founder, Todd McFarlane, to recreate his cameo in Thor: Ragnarok. McFarlane, himself a cameo veteran thanks to his brief turn as “Bum” in 1997’s Spawn, comically assumed the role of an imprisoned God of Thunder.

The video, which appears to have been shot during a brief pocket of downtime at Stan Lee’s LA Comic Con, was released a few days later via McFarlane’s Twitter account.

Warning: Incoming Minor Spoilers For Thor: Ragnarok!

While this version is set in a trailer in Downtown Los Angeles, the scene in the actual film takes place on the planet Sakaar, where Thor finds himself in the grip of The Grandmaster (played by Jeff Goldblum), who orders the God’s golden locks sheared off before entering into gladiatorial combat with the Incredible Hulk. The Asgardian is dragged and forced into the barber’s chair, where he encounters a certain snazzily dressed hairstylist.
