This ‘A-Force’ Fan-Made Poster Makes Us Want An All-Female MCU Team Even More

All signs in the MCU seem to be pointing towards females that “kick names and take a–,” like Mantis said in Infinity War. The horizon looks to Phase 4, and although there are a few confirmed sequels in the works, the rest is wide open. The lineup of female characters has grown immensely over the years, and with Ant-Man and the Wasp being the first MCU film to co-headline a female lead, Captain Marvel slated for 2019, and a solo Black Widow film in the works, the tide is certainly changing.

Since Black Panther, Marvel Studios Pres. Kevin Feige has said he has been more than open to female characters and leads, and fans and actors alike have been matching that enthusiasm since. During the press tour for Ant-Man and the Wasp, Evangeline Lilly spoke about the possibility of a team-up featuring many of the female characters saying the following:

“Dude, there’s talk of an all-ladies MCU movie amongst the MCU ladies. We would love to do that, and I think we should all put as much pressure as possible on Kevin [Feige] to make that happen.”

Throughout the press tour, the topic of teaming up the other female MCU members has been a prevalent topic, to the point where Lilly has admitted that she plans to, “continue to keep the rumor and gossip about an all-female Avengers film going until it happens.” Check out the footage from the press tour below:

Other female stars like Tessa Thompson and Brie Larson have also advocated for female-led stories since all of their characters live in the same universe. To keep the wheels in motion, some very talented fans out there have created a visual depiction of what could be.
