The ‘Deadpool 2’ Trailer Is Out – In Lego Version

One mark of a memorable film or franchise is the recreation of it in LEGO form. A popular art form these days is the taking of modern characters and videos and replicating them as identically as possible with LEGOs.

The latest work to have had this done is the latest Deadpool 2 trailer, which released only a few weeks ago.

The new trailer, uploaded by Huxley Berg Studios, used the original voiceover but recreates each shot from the trailer with LEGO counterparts.

This is no easy feat, as the trailer even perfectly replicates that moment what Deadpool “breaks the fourth wall,” as he usually does, and plays with Deadpool and Cable dolls while waiting for the CGI team to digitally create Cable’s metal arm.

Deadpool 2 stars Ryan Reynolds, of course, and is directed by David Letch. Morena Baccarin will reprise her role as Vanessa, as well as T.J. Miller (Weasel), Leslie Uggams (Blind Al), Brianna Hildebrand (Negasonic Teenage Warhead), and Stefan Kapičić (Colossus).

Zazie Beetz as Domino and Josh Brolin as Cable are just a few of the new characters to be introduced in the action-packed (and profanity-packed) sequel.

Check out the LEGO-fied trailer below:

Deadpool 2 will come to theaters on May 18, 2018.
