It looks like Thanos is taking over more than one universe! First the MCU and now the world of Fortnite. That’s right, Thanos is asking his proverbial teammates, “where are we dropping, guys?”
In a limited time collaboration, Avengers: Infinity War and Fortnite are bringing Thanos into the fray, it seems. Epic Games and Marvel will implement a new element to the battle royale that started May 8th, so be sure to grab your squads and get to the battle bus, because this is only a special treat as part of the new elements for season four of Fortnite.

The “Infinity Gauntlet Limited Time Mashup” mode won’t change the premise of the game. It will still be a battle of the bullets and buildings for the victory royale, but now you may be lucky enough to find the Infinity Gauntlet somewhere on the map.
The lucky player or squad that finds the Infinity Gauntlet (complete with all six Infinity Stones, of course, it’s not just a useless golden glove) will turn into Thanos himself and “wield the power that comes with him,” according to EW.
This unprecedented collab is pairing up the hottest game in the world right now with the movie event 10 years in the making. It turns out directors Anthony and Joe Russo joined in on the battle royale during the post-production schedule…
“Over the past few months, while we were editing Infinity War, we’d take breaks to hop on and get in a few games,” Joe exclusively told EW. “And then we started thinking, how cool would it be to have some kind of Avengers–Fortnite mashup? So we stalked Donald,” Joe said.
