Frank Castle isn’t the man that you once knew him as. His days as a human being are far from over because now he’s embodied by the spirit of vengeance. Castle is the Ghost Rider, gifted with the power cosmic thanks to Galactus, giving him abilities that are virtually second to none. With that in mind, he has his heart set on righting the wrongs that Thanos put into play when he destroyed almost all of the life in the universe.
The wild Cosmic Ghost Rider #3 picks up with Frank after he’s kidnapped a toddler-sized Thanos via time travel in hopes of leading him on a less destructive path through life. For obvious reasons, this deranged version of Frank probably isn’t the best option to parent the mini Mad Titan, but at least it makes for awesome entertainment.
Too bad for Frank, Cable and his new Guardians of the Galaxy team are on his scent and apparently come from a future where Thanos becomes way worse thanks to having the Cosmic Ghost Rider as a role model.
They’ve come to kill the child, and Frank wants absolutely nothing to do with that, including the possibility of having to brutally murder all of these do-gooders in front of the kid.
With no other choice, Frank tosses baby Thanos to The Watcher and instructs him not to allow the kid to see what’s about to happen next.
