If there’s one thing that many comic book lovers can agree on, it’s that Marvel Studios has mastered the art of releasing blockbuster hits. So, in an effort to keep the ball rolling, Marvel has decided to make a very impressive deal with Sony in regards to the Spider-Man: Homecoming movie.
Apparently, the deal between both companies has been in the works since 2015 when Marvel CEO, Ike Perlmutter, initially pitched the idea.
Fans are excited because, according to ComicBook.com, this allows “Marvel to use the character in their cinematic universe, finally bringing Spider-Man under the same roof as the Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy as hoards of fans hoped.”
As a result, people have set some pretty high expectations for the film, but both Marvel and Sony are more than ready to live up to them.
