Frank Castle is making his way back to Hell’s Kitchen in the second season of Netflix’s Punisher series. Actor Jon Bernthal will be reprising his role of the intensely violent vigilante, who made his first appearance in the second season of the hit show Daredevil, starring Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock/Daredevil. Castle once lusted for revenge after the tragic deaths of his family, caught in the crossfire of a mob battle.
The first season of the Punisher’s solo effort saw the stone-cold vigilante teaming up with Micro (Ebon Moss-Bachrach), a former analyst for the NSA presumably thought to have perished.
They are joined by a Homeland Security agent played by Amber Rose Revah in an attempt to uncover a deep military conspiracy that eventually saw to the death of Castle’s family. Karen Page would also be making her return in the first season of Punisher.
Filming for the second season was expected to be going on from February through July. Recently some photos were taken that would commemorate the beginning of filming properly, appearing on a fan’s Facebook page.
