Each and every one of the heroes and villains from the Marvel Cinematic Universe brings their own sets of skills and powers to the table. Some are naturally strong, some are enhanced, and some use their intelligence as their strength. Then we have the weapons that raise the levels of power for many of the characters. While many are built, there are some that are formed naturally in the universe, i.e. the Infinity Stones.
With weapons being so prevalent in the MCU, we wanted to have a look at some of the most powerful around. Let’s take a peek at how they stack up against one another. Afterward, jump into the comments and let us know which ones are your favorites…
Let’s get this one out of the way first. We could list each of the Infinity Stones individually and create half of the list immediately. We could also list the Tesseract and Chitauri Scepter by themselves, but that seems redundant as well. With all six Stones together, though, there is nothing more powerful than the Infinity Gauntlet. This has already been proven in Avengers: Infinity War.
Prior to Thor: Ragnarok, Mjolnir was thought to be the most powerful weapon in the Asgardian arsenal. Then, Hela came along and destroyed it without much effort. Fast forward to Infinity War, and they bring us Stormbreaker, the ax strong enough to cut through a blast from the Infinity Gauntlet, proving that Thor is always stronger with a weapon in his hand!
Rocket is not only one of the funniest Guardians of the Galaxy, but he’s also the only one left at the moment. Furthermore, his ability to build powerful weapons, oftentimes on the spot, is one of the coolest abilities in the MCU. One of his creations, the Hadron Enforcer, shoots a bullet filled with hadron particles that explode on impact. Unfortunately, we only got to see it used when Ronan the Accuser was in possession of the Power Stone so it had little effect, but don’t get it twisted, it’s an incredibly powerful weapon.
