As for the rest of the crew, the lineup is looking pretty stacked. Liev Schreiber will be voicing the Kingpin, Lily Tomlin will be voicing Aunt May, Mahershala Ali is Miles’ Uncle/The Prowler, and Hailee Steinfeld is voicing Gwen Stacy, AKA Spider-Gwen in this universe.
In a Sony press release, Phil Lord and Christopher Miller had this to say about the vocal talent on the project:
“We are lucky to have such an amazing cast of funny, genuine creative souls to populate the Spider-verse. They have generous minds and great big hearts. And they have very talented throats. Which is where their delightful voices come from. We can’t wait for the world to see Miles Morales on the big screen. He’s such a fun and exciting new character, and telling his story through a revolutionary visual style makes for a totally fresh cinematic experience that, if we may say so, is freaking amazing.”
So we’ll have to wait until December to catch Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse in all of its glory, but in the meanwhile, be on the lookout for more sneak peaks and Easter eggs as we get closer to the launch date!
