On July 6th we’ll finally get to see Marvel’s duo, Ant-Man and the Wasp take the big screen in their own movie, and many are dying to see what their dynamics are going to look like in full swing. There’s also a lot of potential storytelling aspects that can be touched on to hopefully give more answers as to where they were during the events of Avengers: Infinity War, and what happens next for them.
But exactly one month before that kicks off, we get a look at an all-new Ant-Man and the Wasp comicbook miniseries that looks absolutely awesome. The goal is six issues, the first of which to drop on June 6th. That means Scott Lang, AKA Ant-Man, and Nadia van Dyne, AKA The Wasp, will be diving into some seriously “science-y” and strange adventures, and it’s the perfect appetizer before the film.
The official description for the comicbook reads:
“A NEW SERIES FROM MARK WAID & JAVIER GARRON! Wasp was just trying to help Ant-Man get home to Earth to see his daughter…but a little problem got in the way. Very little. Subatomic, in fact, as Scott Lang was lost in the vast spaces between atoms! Now, Nadia is his only hope of rescue…if only he would listen long enough for her to save them! From master storyteller Mark Waid (CAPTAIN AMERICA, CHAMPIONS) and Marvel Young Gun artist Javier Garrón (SECRET WARRIORS, STAR-LORD) comes a story of a big journey getting smaller all the time!”
The preview released shows that their love/hate relationship is in full effect and things are about to get a little wild from across the universe.
