New 10-Year Anniversary MCU Poster Shows Over 120 Marvel Characters In Emoji Form

The Ten-Year Anniversary celebration in the MCU is still continuing on! This whole year has been dedicated to the momentous milestone of ten great years of films that expended and enriched the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Between a series of character spotlight posters, featurettes, and some amazing films this year, Marvel Studios has been in celebration mode and that continued this week.

Instead of another series of posters or interviews, Marvel Studios has released a poster with almost everyone one it. And we do mean everyone, over 100 characters. The only slight catch is that they are all in emoji form, much like the ones that are paired with the character hashtags on Twitter. The biggest critique by the fans has been the exclusion of certain characters in materials such as posters and interviews. For instance, the Vanity Fair magazine spread from last year featured many of the MCU heroes but left out many supporting characters and villains.

Many of the other character poster spreads seemed to forget Hawkeye, which also caused an outcry by fans to include the original Avenger in the cast photos. Even the giant live-action class photo of the MCU actors and creators left out a few key people such as Tom Hiddleston and Clark Gregg, among others.

Luckily, this new poster includes more characters than ever, in movie order, and also includes doubles of certain main characters who have gone through significant transformations like Captain America and Thor. Although the enormous cast of characters in the MCU is still even more than this poster of 128 characters, this comes a little closer to including all of our favorites, even if it’s just in emoji form.

Check it out below:

As you can see, this poster goes all the way up to Ant-Man and the Wasp. That can only mean that the poster will be getting some more rows once Captain Marvel comes out, and perhaps Avengers 4, as well. It’s only a matter of time until the MCU grows once more!
