The nearly decade-long history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe will finally be experiencing a paradigm shift when Avengers: Infinity War drops into theaters on May 4th, 2018. The film will change the entirety of the Earth-199999 universe and bring the stories of some lovable characters to their conclusions. President of Marvel Studios, Kevin Feige has said in an interview with Vanity Fair that Avengers 4 will bring things you’ve never seen in superhero films: a finale.
Feige explained his intentions of carrying the MCU forward after the end of the Avengers franchise, splitting the timeline into two eras due to the events of the fourth film. “There will be two distinct periods,” he said. “Everything before Avengers 4 and everything after. I know it will not be in ways people are expecting.”
The old guard of the Marvel Cinematic Universe will be making room for a new roster of heroes, including Spider-Man, Captain Marvel, and many more. Marvel will be undergoing a vast change after the events of Avengers: Infinity War. Be ready for the conclusion of the Avengers storyline when Avengers 4 drops into theaters in 2019.
