Marvel Studios Gives A Nod To ‘Infinity War’ With ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp’ DVD Trailer

Marvel Studios has had an excellent 2018, and although their last film to open at the cinema this year came in July, the success they saw in the first half of the year is unprecedented in the world of superheroes. Black Panther was released in February and it not only made over one billion dollars at the box office, it scored well with fans and critics alike, likely earning a few Oscar nods in the process.

Black Panther was followed up by the highly-anticipated Avengers: Infinity War. The 19th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe was a culmination of the previous decade’s worth of films from the studio and was as monumental as everyone had hoped it would be. Along with plenty of surprises, the film ended in a way that has fans even more excited for Avengers 4. It also made over two billion dollars at the box office, and that kind of success is sure to keep this train moving forward!

To finish off Marvel Studios’ year at the cinema, Ant-Man and the Wasp flew into theaters in July, and while it didn’t see nearly the kind of box office success that the other two did, it was still a fantastic movie and an excellent addition into the pantheon of the MCU. The film also had a much smaller budget than the other two, meaning its success doesn’t have to be compared directly next to them. Furthermore, the way they were able to tie in the Ant-Man and the Wasp storyline through the mid-credit scene even though Scott Lang was absent from Infinity War was flawless. Avengers 4 is properly set up, and 2019 looks very bright for fans of the Universe.
