When M. Night Shyamalan released Split back in 2016, most fans of the director’s work expected a psychological thriller about a man with multiple personalities, and that’s exactly what we got. We also expected some kind of twist, which is a normal occurrence in his work. Little did we know that the twist at the end was going to reveal that the movie was actually the second installment of Shyamalan’s Unbreakable trilogy when Bruce Willis’ character, Davin Dunn, popped up in the diner at the end. Not since The Sixth Sense did one of his twists hit us so hard!
Now, as more information is revealed about the third film in the trilogy, Glass, we’re starting to see one of the most interesting comicbook film franchises fully unfold in front of our eyes. Entertainment Weekly just released a set of never-before-seen set photos, giving us a deeper look inside of the upcoming Glass, due in theaters on January 18th, 2019. Check them out below.
Samuel L. Jackson is back as Elijah Price, also known as Mr. Glass. The last time we saw him as the character was back in 2000. It’ll be interesting to see what kind of changes the character has made and where his mind frame currently rests.
M. Night Shyamalan’s best work is arguably when he’s collaborating with the legendary Bruce Willis. With Willis back as David Dunn, Shyamalan is able to finish his trilogy off with the Unbreakable star!
