Gwyneth Paltrow May Have Just Revealed Major Plot Point For ‘Avengers 4’ During Recent Interview!

WARNING: SPOILERS FOR AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR BELOW

If there’s any one thing that we can point to when it comes to Avengers: Infinity War, it’s a dramatic change. While that may be painting it with the broadest brush ever, it’s true. One thing that we know is still unchanged is the original Avengers team, assuming Hawkeye made it through Thanos’ snap. Earth’s Mightiest Heroes are still alive and kicking, but they just happen to be in many different places.

If Infinity War was any barometer of how drastic things are going to change, what will Avengers 4 bring? One theory is the film will be dealing with a major time shift, but how that happens is still unsure. One of the film’s actors may have let it slip that there will be a dramatic shift in time during Avengers 4. Her comments also look to confirm Tony Stark’s premonition from the beginning of the movie right before we see Stark and Doctor Strange meet for the first time.

During an interview with Marvel’s Official Avengers: Infinity War Magazine, Gwyneth Paltrow spilled the beans while talking about the changes in Pepper Potts and Tony Stark’s relationship over the years…

“Pepper and Tony have had a real long journey together. She obviously starts as his dutiful assistant, and then the relationship evolves, and now this decade later they’re married, and they have a child. Their relationship has evolved in all of the ways that great romances evolve.”

If you remember, Pepper was trying to tell Tony something important after he and Spider-Man boarded Maw’s spaceship leaving Earth to save Strange, and it looks like it may have been that he was going to be a father. While we may not be sure exactly how it’s all going to play out, Nebula does have her ship on Titan and she’ll likely be his transportation home. Perhaps Paltrow’s revelation revealed the final piece of Tony’s character arc in the Avengers films, or maybe it’s a small piece of a very complex puzzle Marvel Studios is building. Either way, we’ll be in theaters for Avengers 4 in May of 2019 to find out!
