Donald Glover has become one of the most in-demand stars in entertainment. It doesn’t matter if he’s acting, directing, producing, or making music, everything he touches seems to be turning to gold.
For those who don’t know, Glover will be playing a young Lando Calrissian in the upcoming Han Solo-based Star Wars spin-off, Solo: A Star Wars Story. He was recently on a panel for the second season of his TV show Atlanta for the Television Critics Association. Afterwards, he spoke about his role as Lando and revealed a little bit about Ron Howard and the Millenium Falcon.
Per slashfilm.com: “I remember going on set one of the first times, he was like, ‘Yeah, I want to follow you onto the Millennium Falcon and do this thing,’” Glover said. “I was like, ‘I don’t think I’ve ever seen the outside go into the inside.’ He’s like, ‘Yeah, no one’s ever done that shot.’ As a fan, I was like yeah, I was really excited. I know there’s been a lot of talk in the press about this movie but for me anyway, it was a dream, and also it looks really cool to me,” he continued.
