Dolby And IMAX Both Release Exclusive ‘Ant-Man And The Wasp’ Cast Posters!

The next film to make its mark on the Marvel Cinematic Universe is Ant-Man and the Wasp, which is coming to theaters on July 6th. Although the film may not boast 23 superheroes fighting together or a universe-shattering set of weapons, that doesn’t mean that the cast, crew, and team at Marvel Studios isn’t still pulling out all the stops for the film.

The press tour is underway as the release date approaches, so while the cast is out speaking about the film, the different companies that Marvel has collaborated with are also releasing new, exclusive posters. The first to be released is an IMAX poster, which showcases Giant-Man, meaning the oversized moderation to the Ant suit that was first shown in Captain America: Civil War. Along with Giant-Man, we, of course, see Hope Van Dyne accompanying Lang in action in her Wasp suit, only much smaller. No doubt the camera work with both heroes rapidly changing size in the blink of an eye will look even better in IMAX and IMAX 3D.

Check out the new IMAX poster below:

While the IMAX poster only features the two main stars in their suits, the Dolby one-sheet highlights the whole cast. Much like the Infinity War and Black Panther posters before it, the Dolby piece shows Scott Lang in the top front section with Hope Van Dyne below him, both in their suits minus the helmets. Also in the poster is Hank Pym and Luis, the returning characters, and Bill Foster and Janet Van Dyne, the new characters. Also shown is the new film’s villain, Ghost.

The events in Ant-Man and the Wasp take place before Infinity War, so perhaps this will give us an inkling as to why Lang and Van Dyne were not brought into the fray to fight against Thanos and what tricks they (hopefully) have up their sleeves to help everyone in Avengers 4.
