Star Wars is easily one of the most beloved and recognized franchises on the face of the Earth. For decades it has been on the cutting edge of science fiction, trailblazing a way through the final frontier and into the hearts of the ones who hold the film series dear. The most recent movie, The Last Jedi, showed new innovative strides in visuals and in storytelling for that universe, thanks to director Rian Johnson.
Johnson was eager to take on the project and breathe a new life into it with the help of familiar faces from past films and others new to the series. With that, and a successful run in the box office, the next step is bringing it to people’s homes via DVD and Blu-Ray.
The Last Jedi will be available on March 27, 2018, on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray and Blu-ray disc featuring 14 deleted scenes. However, the most exciting addition comes in the form of an in-depth behind-the-scenes look at everything that went down during the film process.
The Director and The Jedi is the name of the short documentary attached to the movie print.
