Disney World Announces ‘Incredible Summer’ Featuring Guardians Of The Galaxy, Incredibles, And More

Aside from all of the monumental Marvel Studios film releases coming out this year, Disney is gearing up for the long-awaited release of the sequel to their animated Superhero film, Pixar’s The Incredibles 2.

With this upcoming film (and the upcoming Marvel releases), both Disney parks in America are rolling out new Superhero-themed additions, to enhance the fan excitement for all of what’s to come. Disney’s California Adventure had a great 2017 summer with their “Summer of Heroes” experience paired with the opening of the attraction Guardians of the Galaxy Mission: Breakout.

This year, Disneyland is taking it one step further and revamping Paradise Pier into “Pixar Pier.” The presence of superheroes will come with the Incredibles-Themed rollercoaster, The Incredicoaster (currently California Screamin’).

It is yet to be announced if the Summer of Heroes will be returning to Disneyland this summer, but in the meantime, Marvel fans can still meet some of their favorite Avengers around the parks such as Spider-Man, Captain America, and Thor, to name a few.

For the 2018 summer releases, Walt Disney World is joining in on the fun. The Disney Parks Blog just announced that all of WDW will receive new and exciting attractions and activities in all four parks, as part of their “Incredible Summer” experience.

All four parks (Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, and Hollywood Studios) will have new summer additions for Marvel, classic Disney, and Pixar fans alike.
