Deleted Scene From ‘Infinity War’ Shows Vision And Wanda Fighting For Their Lives

The fight for control over the Infinity Stones found its way to Earth, and inevitably brought a whole lot of destruction along with it. Vision, the android created by Tony Stark, Ultron, and Helen Cho, found life with the Mind Stone. Having that big shiny gem in the middle of his forehead obviously made him a target for Thanos and the Black Order when they came knocking for control of them all. But giving it up would mean the end of life as he knew it, and that wasn’t something he was willing to hand over without a fight.

Wanda Maximoff, AKA The Scarlet Witch, would have something else to say about taking the life of Vision as well, because of the love they had developed for one another over time. So when the threat finally arrived, she was first in line to protect her partner at all costs, even when she knew she was outnumbered or injured herself.

Watching her unleash her powers against the Black Order and others was really awesome to watch in Avengers: Infinity War. It showed what kind of heart and character the hero had at some of the most trying points in the story. From psionic energy manipulation to telekinesis, force field projection, and more we saw Scarlet Witch do everything within her abilities to save Vision from death. However, we witnessed towards the end of the film that there was no saving him, or herself, for that matter.

We can only hope that Vision will be able to be brought back to some semblance of life to help avenge and rescue everyone else. Considering that his physical form is still intact somewhere in Wakanda, that may not be a far-fetched thought.

In honor of the two Avenger lovers, a deleted scene was recently released and is included in the Twitter video clip below. It shows the duo facing off against Proxima Midnight and Corvus Glaive of the Black Order, and would have made a really nice addition to the film. At least we can enjoy it now!
