‘Deadpool’ Creator Thinks There’s A Team That Can Compete With MCU’s Avengers

When thinking about super-powered teams from the Marvel comicbook universe, who comes to mind? There are so many to choose from, but only a few have crossed over into the world of cinema. Sure you have The Defenders on Netflix, and we’ve seen a few different attempts at X-Men done, but the Avengers are easily the most popular group of heroes on the list, as they get ready to smash the box office with their third film. But then there’s X-Force . . .




Come May 18th, Deadpool 2 will be in theaters with some new friends tagging along beside the Merc with a Mouth to give the audience more saucy action and laughs than the last time.




After many months of speculation, the X-Force will be officially making their debut with Deadpool and perhaps even Cable at the helm as their fearless leader or leaders. Fox and the whole team involved in putting this movie together seem to have a pretty awesome formula figured out for balancing all of the new energies at play here on the screen. These kinds of dynamics with X-Force are really going to be what helps sell them as a somewhat dysfunctional-but-functioning team of characters that feel believable on screen.




There’s certainly enough talent to go around with Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool, Josh Brolin as Cable, and huge support from Zazie Beetz, Terry Crews, and more as members of the X-Force crew.
