- Ant-Man and the Wasp is officially two weeks away from opening in theaters nationwide. Well, 15 days, but if you count the Thursday night preview shows, it’s a flat two weeks. Fans have been eagerly awaiting the return of Scott Lang, as we haven’t seen him since his appearance as a member of Team Cap in Captain America: Civil War. Being locked down on house arrest, Lang wasn’t able to join the rest of his fellow super-powered heroes in the battle against Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War, but in the sequel to the 2015 surprise hit Ant-Man, we’re going to get all of our questions about the bite-sized hero answered.
Not only is Lang back, so is Hope Van Dyne, and this time she’s suiting up as the Wasp and teaming up with Ant-Man to rescue her mother from the Quantum Realm before defending the planet from the threat they’ll unleash, Ghost. We’ve seen all of the trailers, and we’ve watched all of the TV spots, but now Marvel Studios has released some behind-the-scenes photos from the set of Ant-Man and the Wasp, opening in theaters on July 6th. Check out all 10 below!
Peyton Reed is back to helm Ant-Man and the Wasp and is looking to build on the world he created and the success the studio saw with 2015’s Ant-Man. This time around, he has more weapons at his disposal, and he’s not afraid to use them!
Michael Douglas returns as Dr. Hank Pym, and he’s bringing with him more tech, gadgets, and tricks as the team has incredibly difficult tasks in front of them. They’re not only going to need everything in his arsenal, but they’re also going to need each other!
It’s going to be great to see Paul Rudd and Michael Douglas back together as Lang and Dr. Pym. While they may not be perfect partners by any stretch of the imagination, they are everything each other needs to get the job done!
