Any time a new character is introduced into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, fans start thinking about all of the possibilities that come with the hero or villain’s inclusion. In regards to Captain Marvel, the possibilities are endless. Not only is she from Earth, her reach also stretches out into the cosmos. Along with Thor and the Guardians of the Galaxy, this gives Marvel Studios a chance to explore the vastness of space another way.
We’re already seeing some of the possibilities with her as Captain Marvel is set in the 1990’s and will bring back characters that we initially believed to be gone forever. Ronan the Accuser, Korath the Pursuer, and Agent Coulson have all perished in past MCU films, but all three will be returning in the film on March 8th, 2019.
With under six months until Captain Marvel opens in theaters, fans are starting to grow anxious as they patiently await the film’s first trailer. Some footage was shown back at San Diego Comic-Con, but nothing has been released to the public yet. When the film’s star, Brie Larson and Entertainment Weekly teased that they would “break the Internet” on September 5th, fans hoped for a trailer, and while we didn’t get that, we were given out first look into the film with still photos and interviews with the magazine. You can check those photos out for yourself HERE…
Hey @EW I’m bored. Wanna break the Internet tomorrow?

Finally, it seems like the wait is almost over for the first trailer. Now it may be merely speculation, but Brie Larson’s scheduled appearance on Good Morning America became public has now been confirmed and that points to the first Captain Marvel trailer being debuted on GMA on Tuesday, September 18th. It won’t be the first time Marvel Studios has used this method of release, and like the EW exclusives, it seems they’re following their own blueprint. Her appearance is scheduled to air at 9 AM EST. Tune in!
