From the minds of Jonathan Hickman, Jerome Opeña, and Jim Cheung, Thanos’s Black Order burst onto comicbook panels in 2013’s New Avengers Vol 3 #8. This team of supervillainous extraterrestrials was brought together under the command of the Mad Titan, all to aid in his search for the Infinity Gems.
Their involvement in the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe crossover, Avengers: Infinity War was revealed last year when statues of each character appeared at Disney’s D23 Expo and Comic-Con International. The four teammates on either side of Thanos include Ebony Maw, Black Dwarf, Proxima Midnight, and Corvus Glaive.

While fans have only seen the look of the antagonists in the form of these statues, a recently released issue of a German catalog has revealed the actual faces and designs of the Children of Thanos.
