Stranger Things have been seen, or at least will be, this Fall during Halloween Horror Nights in Universal Studios’ Hollywood, Orlando, and Singapore locations. That’s right, Netflix’s popular TV series will have an amazing and terrifying maze to immerse themselves in, all themed after some iconic locations and moments in Stranger Things’ first hit season.
A lot of the creative masterminds behind the show helped make it possible all while staying true to the series’ roots in an authentic way. From the school to the Byers family home, the lab to the Upside-Down and beyond, you’ll get a chance to experience a little of it all for yourself. According to Screen Rant, who got an exclusive tour behind the scenes before the attraction opens later this month, here’s a couple of things you’ll want to know about the maze…
- “This is the first time that a Horror Nights maze has been built on a soundstage, thus allowing for greater verticality in the Hawkins Lab. It was actually built on the Family Feud stage.”
- “The maze is based on season 1 of Stranger Things. They thought about including season 2, but focusing on one, singular story arc made for a more immersive experience.”
